Mortgage NO-NO'S
DON'T DO THESE THINGS If You Have Or Are About To Apply For A Mortgage.
1. Don't change bank accounts
2. Don't apply for new credit cards or close credit card accounts.
3. Don't make large purchases NO NEW CAR
4. Don't deposit CASH into your bank account without speaking to your lender first. You will have to document where that cash came from.
5. DON'T cosign for a loan .. . You really shouldn't ever do this.
6. Don't change jobs
All of these things will either negatively affect your credit, the $ amount you qualify for, or be a red flag to your lender. Talk to your lender before you make any significant financial moves.
